Imagine driving across the dramatic Big Bend landscape, and traveling backwards through time. Well, the Brewster County Tourism Council’s Big Bend Snapshot program allows just that. The council is placing historic signs throughout the region that blend facts with vistas, inviting drivers who stop and read them to become time travelers. Soon an app will be available to locate the signs and other exhibits along different highways and road spurs.
