Leadership training in the Big Bend

When it comes to learning to lead and developing key leadership skills, Leadership Big Bend offers that and much more. Founded in 1994, the mission of Leadership Big Bend is to develop Tri-County Area leaders. Regina Terrazas serves from Big Bend Regional Medical Center serves as the current board president.

Jim McDonald, board member and leadership development consultant, has been involved with the organization for 10 years. He currently serves on the Board of Directors. McDonald, who also has a training role, said, “It’s a great place to network with people. You get to meet with bankers, attorneys, judges, and the Border Patrol. We also travel to Terlingua and Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Presidio, and spend some time in Big Bend National Park in the Parks Service.”

According to McDonald, members can meet leaders in the area in a variety of industries, both public and private.
