At the Brewster County Commissioners court meeting, commissioners approved David Lambrix as the county emergency management coordinator effective Aug. 28. Lambrix had resigned from that same position on May 2, and the job had remained open since then.
Lambrix said Judge Eleazar Cano had asked him to return to the position, and he agreed.
This is good news for Sierra La Rana residents as Dave Lambrix was working with us to upgrade our development map using gps coordinates as well as physical addresses for emergency services and stock tank locations for Fire Dept. use will also now have gps coordinates. Work has already begun to finish this project.
