Join us on a guided walk to find and birds, plants, sights and sounds at one of the most beautiful places in the Big Bend Region! This walk is for all visitors, young or old who wants to learn about wildlife, the park, and its bird life. Bring water. 2hrs; easy trail walk. The Davis Mountains State Park is a designated Globally Important Bird Area bragging 365+ species of birds that have been documented here throughout the year, so you never know what you will see. This weekly survey allows birders a chance to find birds in their wild habitat, and by logging the bird list on the internet, allows future visitors to find out who’s flying and when!
