It’s been four years almost to the day since Alpine Valley Care Center closed its doors, leaving the region without a nursing home.
Grace Christian Church at 801 E. Brown has bought the old facility, which is adjacent to the church’s 6-acre site, and hopes to turn it into a combination of offices, church classrooms and living spaces to serve the church’s outreach programs.
