Alvarez named new tourism director
Robert Alvarez, executive director of the Fort Davis Chamber of Commerce, will be the new Brewster County tourism director beginning Jan. 1.
Brewster County Commissioners decided earlier this year to bring the Tourism Council into the county structure, making its workers county employees.
