Darrell Dodds, Assistant Superintendant said AISD was recently designated as a property wealthy district, changing its designation from chapter 42 to chapter 41. The designation is determined by how much wealth a district holds per weighted average daily attendance. WADA is a formula that calculates how many resources are dedicated per student based on daily attendance, and whether or not that student is in English as a second language or special education classes, among other factors.
