FAQ’s

So exactly what is Five Stand?
Five stand is a shotgun shooting sport similar to skeet, trap and sporting clays. It consists of 5 stands (stations) with 6 to 9 target throwers. Each stand will have a menu card indicating letting the shooter know the sequence and direction of clay birds. There are 5 presentation per station, for a max total of 25 clay birds on a Five Stand course. Five stand could be interpreted as a combination between Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays.

What is the difference between Five Stand and other shotgun shooting sports such as Skeet, Trap, or Sporting Clays?
Shotgun sports such as Trap and Skeet are games of repeatable target presentations. Sporting clays is considered “golf with a shotgun”. It consists of 10 to 13 stations with a total of 100 targets thrown. The stations are strategically placed across a wide terrain and the targets are thrown in a manner to replicate natural hunting scenarios with various angles, speeds, elevations, distances and clay bird sizes.

While 5 stand consists of repeatable target presentations as does Trap and Skeet, you will get 25 unique target presentations with Five Stand, providing as close of an experience as possible to actual Sporting clays in a confined, condensed format.
